Northstar Portable Buildings provides FREE delivery. Free delivery and setup include one trip to the delivery location within 50 odometer miles from the nearest Northstar location, “on lot inventory” over 50 miles are subject to a $6/mile charge one way, and any additional trips may also incur charges to the customer. “Free Setup” includes leveling of the building, starting with one corner at ground level, up to 3′ with customer supplied blocks.
Set-up includes leveling the portable building with treated wood blocks provided by the delivery driver; or suitable 4” flat solid concrete blocks available at the site and provided by the Customer.
Buildings are set with treated wood used to level the building. Drivers will not set a building above 8” from ground level without an extra cost. Wood or 4” flat solid concrete blocks above 8” in height may require extra time and material which the customer must agree to pay directly to the driver at the time of delivery. The driver will level the building when it is delivered initially. If the buildings settle after being loaded with belongings this is not a warranty issue. If the driver is needed to go back to re level that will be the responsibility of the customer.
There must be enough space for not only the building but also the truck and the trailer. There are some things to consider for the delivery of your building. The truck and trailer that will be delivering your building may exceed 75’ in length and when loaded with your building may exceed 15.6’ in height. Low ranch gates may cause issues for the driver when entering the property. Low power lines and telephone line must be considered for the delivery of the building also. Adequate clearances require a minimum of four feet from any other structure or property line on any side of the portable building, and overhead clearance equal to the height of the portable building plus five feet. If the driver determines that there is not enough space, arrangements for another location must be made by the customer.
If another trip is necessary to make delivery, the customer will bear the entire cost of the subsequent delivery at the cost of $6.00 per mile (one way).
Delivery personnel are not responsible for the trimming of trees, clearing of brush or stumps, or the removal of fences & gates or any other obstructions at the delivery site. Please use conservative judgment when considering ditches and/or tight access routes/turns on rural access roads.
Blocking. 6×10 up to 12×28 in length is $100 each level of blocking. 12×29 or larger in length is $150 each level of blocking. Recommended block size is 8x8x16 SOLID BLOCK. Pads are optional but highly recommended.

RENT TO OWN was established as an alternative to mini-warehousing. Our no strings plans allows you to have your own storage facility for your backyard or business, when and where you need it. The low monthly rental rates are comparable to mini-warehousing rates per square foot. You are not required to fill out a credit application, nor are you required to keep your building.
All buildings come with their own pressure treated floor system. 8′ and 10′ buildings have 2 4×6 notched runners with pressure treated floor joists 16″ on center. All 12′ wide buildings have 4 runners. Floor decking is 5/8″ pressure treated LP flooring fastened down with 3″ hot dipped galvanized nails.
All walls are framed with true 2×4’s 16″ on center and double studded every 48″ under siding joints. This makes a much tighter seam under siding joints. The corners are nailed together and the bottom plate is nailed to the floor. All framing is done with with 3″ hot dipped galvanized nails
All buildings are priced with a 30 year metal roof. We have numerous metal colors to choose from to help you match your house or other buildings. We do offer 3 colors of architectural shingles as well.

Average time for delivery when purchasing a building that is already at the Dealer’s Lot is 5-7 Business Days. The average time for delivery when purchasing a Custom Ordered building is 4-6 weeks. Excluding Holidays, weekends, and always with weather permitting. Our 3rd party delivery company will contact you to schedule delivery.

Please ensure there are no obstacles (trees, fences, gates, low hanging wires, etc.) prior to delivery. Buildings are generally around 12′ tall and we require an extra 2-3′ of height clearance to ensure no damage occurs to the roof of the building during set up.
Please ensure there is at least an extra 2′ of width clearance to bring the building onto
the property to ensure no damage occurs to the sides of the building.
Example: an 8ft wide needs 10ft of clearance. A 10ft wide needs 12ft of clearance.
We DO NOT offer any tree trimming, gate removal or fence removal services.
**PLEASE NOTE: If there is a balance due to pay off your building at the time of delivery, the payment is to be turned into the driver in the form of CHECK, CASHIERS CHECK, MONEY ORDER made payable to Shed Daddy’s. We can also run a CREDIT CARD through our QR Code/App if you so choose.
